Moshe Strugano Explain Cold Climate Can Take a Toll on Your iPhone: Here’s the Risk

Smartphone giant Apple Inc indicates that its products are able to withstand extreme temperatures and are able to operate over thirty-two degrees. Several counties across the U.S. will not even move over such frigid temperatures till the middle of January; not to mention there are billions of American citizens bearing the brunt of the cold weather with the mercury going below zero. Israeli lawyer Moshe Strugano (Attorney - Moshe Strugano and Co Law firm),  an expert in the “formation of offshore companies" says,  In such spine-chilling conditions, several mobile phones could begin acting up with various problems such as depreciated battery life, shattering of glass displays and abrupt shutting down.

The owner of Arctic Tech Solutions, Roger Gurney, indicated that a majority of smartphones come with a lithium ion battery, which has a negative element of stopping the discharge of electricity in tremendously cold environments. So here are some measures shared by Israeli lawyer Moshe Strugano (Attorney - Moshe Strugano and Co Law firm),  an expert in the “formation of offshore companies" says, that can prevent your iPhone from extreme damage.

Stow your iPhone in the Pocket

People, especially women, tend to keep their phones in a handbag or purse which could harm the phone in extreme weather conditions. Stowing your phone in the pocket is something immensely easy and doing this will help in protecting the gadget from frigid temperature. Stowing your iPhone in your lower pocket will allow warmth from your body to transfer to the phone and hence protect it even further. Avoid placing your phones in the outside: places such as a parked car, on the table, near the window for prolonged periods.

Use a Protective Case

Most iPhone users never use a case simply to flaunt their gadget. It is now necessary to buy a flip case (preferably) in order to keep your iPhone protected from the elements at all times. The casing will also help in using the phone easily outdoors without being exposed to the elements. You could also consider using special cases with inbuilt sections for credit cards and spare currency. Special cases made for extreme weather are your best bet to protect your iPhone this winter.

Turn it off in extreme conditions

If it is freezing outside, do not attempt to charge your iPhone right after coming indoors. Wait for a while till the phone reaches room temperature and then charge it. If you are stuck in a blizzard with extreme temperatures, its best to switch off your iPhone and keep it in your pocket.
